LIaw 050 Ballerina

This miniature polymer clay plate, 1 inch or 2.54cm in diameter is hand-made in the style of Wedgwood's blue jasper ware. It features a hand- sculptured ballerina delicately poised on one toe. Though the sculptured centre piece is no higher at any point than 0.4mm there is still a hint of the line of the dancer's leg visible beneath her fine skirt. This is a wonderful showpiece for the dollhouse mantelpiece or show cupboard. It would also be a great wall feature for the miniature scene or would be a wonderful addition to the miniature china shop.
