This hand-knitted doll in period costume was inspired by the BBC production of Pride and Prejudice. It measures just 3.1cm or 1 1/4 inches yet her skirt features raised stripes on a finely dotted background. While this miniature doll was made as a toy for children in one twelfth scale dollhouses, for the toy shop or nursery it would also make an excellent doll for collectors.
